Greening of the TG14 energy source

Modernization of a key part of the energy operations at the Synthesia a.s. facility, which we carried out in collaboration with EKOL, spol. s r.o. This was one of the largest projects we have ever undertaken. It involved the TG14 turbogenerator as part of the "Greening of the Energy Source – Phase III" project.

The project involved work in the areas of HV, LV, and I&C. It was essential to properly integrate the new technology with existing operations and coordinate the individual components of the delivery to ensure the entire solution functioned reliably and without complications.

The contract included implementation documentation, as-built documentation, dismantling of original equipment, supply of switchboards, junction and local control boxes, installation and removal of field instrumentation, and electrical building installations, including lighting, sockets, and bonding.

We also provided the supply of cables and cable routes, including fire seals, the expansion of the existing fire alarm system and telephone network, and structural modifications to the control room, electrical control room, and selected substations.

A significant part of the project involved the reconstruction of 27 HV cubicles in substations R6.03, R6.02, and R6.01, modification of the TG output, replacement of the transformer powering the SPII switchboards, and the supply of Reliance visualization, including a license for 780 data points.

The project also included the addition of batteries for backup power, upgrading the operator workstation, and participation in technology commissioning, testing, startup, and operator training.
